Route 9A Stretch Reopens After Crash In Westchester (Developing)

All lanes of one direction of a stretch of Route 9A in Westchester were temporarily blocked following a crash. 

The crash happened on northbound Route 9A near Sam's Club in Elmsford.

Both lanes of northbound Route 9A in Elmsford near Sam's Club at 333 Saw Mill River Rd. were closed as the result of a crash that happened on Tuesday, Jan. 21 just before 10:30 a.m., according to 511NY. 

More information about the crash has not yet been released by authorities. Preliminary reports said a truck overturned in the area, but authorities have not confirmed this. 

The road was reopened as of 1:45 p.m. on Tuesday.
